Welcome…

Liz Govier is a published archaeological artefact illustrator based in West Wales. Liz has been active in the profession since 2008. In 2021 Liz began illustrating on a graphics tablet and ventured into drawing floral compositions, which led to the creation of ‘The Botanical Collection’. Liz also has a keen interest in historic buildings and illustrates buildings in pen and ink, and digitally.

Digital painting is an art form using computer software such as Procreate and Adobe Fresco with a graphics tablet and stylus pen. An artist will operate their stylus like a brush or pencil to execute illustration and painting techniques within a software program using a computer screen or tablet as their digital canvas.

All of the digitally created art pieces are conservation quality digital paintings that utilise colour fast archival inks on acid free cotton rag, 210gsm matte paper.
